ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome — I am Cath, a qualified Counsellor, Transpersonal Art Therapist and Group Work Practitioner. I offer a compassionate, kind and caring space for healing, creative expression, and self-discovery.

 

I work with women, men, teenagers, couples, and the elderly, and I deeply honour the uniqueness of each person who walks through my door. Whether you’re facing emotional challenges, navigating life transitions, healing from grief or trauma, depression or simply seeking a deeper connection to yourself — you are welcome here.

 

My approach is gentle, empathetic, and centred around you. I draw on a blend of counselling, creative therapies, and transpersonal tools that go beyond the surface — helping you access your inner wisdom, reconnect with your sense of wholeness, and move forward at your own pace.

I believe that healing happens in safe, respectful spaces — where you are seen, heard, and supported without judgement. I bring not only my training, but also my lived experience and wholehearted presence to every session.

GROUP WORK

Counselling with me is a gentle space where you can simply be — no pressure, no expectations, just a place to breathe and feel supported.

Together, we explore the things that are weighing on your heart — whether it’s anxiety, grief, stress, relationship struggles, or life transitions. I offer a calm, non-judgemental presence where you can speak freely and be deeply heard.

You won’t find quick fixes here. What I offer is genuine care, heartfelt listening, and a safe place to begin healing in your own way, at your own pace. It’s about reconnecting with your inner strength, clarity, and sense of self — one step at a time.

Art therapy is a gentle, creative way to explore your inner world — especially when words are difficult or emotions feel too big to express.

You don’t need to be “good at art.” This isn’t about making something perfect — it’s about allowing your feelings, memories, and experiences to unfold through colour, shape, and image. Sometimes what we carry inside can be seen more clearly when we stop trying to explain and simply create.

I offer a calm, supportive space where you can work through grief, anxiety, trauma, or transitions using the language of the heart — creativity. Through drawing, painting, or even simple mark-making, we begin to gently access what wants to be felt, witnessed, and released.

Art therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, uncover inner wisdom, and find healing in the most unexpected ways. It’s not just about making art — it’s about coming home to your wholeness

The group spaces I hold are warm, inclusive, and rooted in connection. In these circles, you are never alone — we heal through community, shared stories, and gentle guidance.

Each group is thoughtfully created for those navigating similar life experiences, such as grief, anxiety, personal growth, or life transitions. Together, we create a space where everyone is respected, heard, and valued — a space where real transformation can unfold.

Some of my groups, particularly those supporting the elderly or offering comfort-based connection, include the presence of Shadow, my calm and intuitive dog. His gentle energy brings a soothing, grounded presence that often helps participants feel even more at ease.

Group work offers the chance not only to grow within yourself, but to connect with others in a deeply meaningful way — where healing is shared, and support is real.
